If you’ve ever made a Bundt cake, you’ve probably used a pan from Nordic Ware.  Located in the Minneapolis suburb of St. Louis Park, the company was founded in 1946.   Nordic Ware started with specialty Scandinavian ethnic cookware products for baking—the Rosette iron, Krumkake iron, Platte Panne pan, and the Ebelskiver pan.

Making it Big

The company gained fame in the 1950s with its famous product, the Bundt® pan, which can be found in over 70 million households around the world.  The pan rose to worldwide fame when it was used to bake a prize-winning cake in a national baking contest.  Now Nordic Ware distributes products worldwide.  They sell those original Scandinavian products, Bundt pans of every shape and size and hundreds of other items in Nordic Ware’s product offering, ranging from bakeware and cookware to microwave products and grilling accessories.

Deals and Demonstrations

You’ll find all these products at their Factory Store, adjacent to Nordic Ware’s St. Louis Park corporate headquarters and factory.  It features first quality cookware, bakeware, microwave and barbecue products, kitchen tools and accessories as well as factory close-outs and irregulars. In addition, staff regularly offer cooking and baking lessons.  On Saturdays they feature fun cooking demonstrations with all sort of creative pans and cookware.  It’s a bit of heaven for bakers.
