Noah’s Ark Waterpark is to the Dells as the Statue of Liberty is to NYC. It’s iconic, and you simply can’t miss it. The Dells’ first mega outdoor waterpark, opened in 1979, Noah’s Ark is an incredible playland of some 50 waterslides, wave pools, endless rivers, kiddie water play areas, arcades and more. Every year or so, Noah’s Ark Waterpark opens a major new attraction.
The park features lots of (pricey) concession stands, although you can bring your lunch and picnic at designated spots.
Plan to spend a full day here.If you hate long lines, go on a cloudy, cool or rainy day. Lines also diminish starting around 4 p.m. There are lots of great tips for your visit on the website; make sure to read them.
The park’s website also provides a variety of special deals, so check them out before you purchase tickets. Oh, and tickets are often included with stays at the area’s smaller hotels.
