In 1868 Nicolas Alziari left the family laundry business to purchase
a few old mills in Nice and pursue a passion for producing some of the world’s best olive oil, adopting terminology from the Champagne
world, and creating ‘grands crus’ olive oils.

In 1920 he set up his eponymous shop in the center of Nice, and it is guaranteed to set your taste buds aglow.  Stop in for the  selection of anchovies, pistous, aiolis, tapenades, and, of course, olives and olive oil—all of which make exceptional and authentic souvenirs.
