Las Vegas’ zany original Cirque du Soleil acrobatic show is still going strong at TI (Treasure Island). For almost two decades, the French Canadian circus troupes’ whimsical acrobats, clowns, jugglers, aerialists, and gigantic taiko drummers have been delighting crowds.
If there is any such thing as a classic Cirque du Soleil show on the Strip, this is it. Just don’t worry too much about the plot, which isn’t Cirque’s strong suit. They say that this 90-minute show is about the eternal cycle of life, and trot out a 200-pound baby to prove it. But we’re still not sure that’s really true.
Children of all ages are welcome, although younger kids might find the whole experience just plain scary.
Tip: Arrive 30 minutes before showtime to laugh at the free warm-up entertainment.
