Musée de l’Amérique Française offers an impressive collection of fine art, religious artifacts, scientific instruments, and thoughtfully explores the history of the French language
not only in Quebec City and Montreal, but its influence in western Canada, Acadia, New England, and Louisiana as well. You can even research the history of your French family name.

The museum is located on the property of the Quebec Seminary and enjoys the distinction of being the oldest museum in Canada.

Free admission is available Tuesdays from early November through late May, and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays in January and February.

In high season you can save a few bucks by purchasing an admission ticket combo ($21 for adults) to Musée de l’Amérique Française, Musée de la Civilisation and the Place Royale Interpretation Centre.
