Moloa’a Bay

Beautiful small bay

Moloa’a is one of the most beautiful small bays in Hawai’i. If you want to snap photos of that idyllic tropical beach, Moloa’a Bay is one of your best options. Though hidden off Kuhio Highway, and not safe a swimming beach, people looking to relax to the sounds of turquoise waters lapping the white sand beach will not be disappointed.

The pilot episode of Gilligan’s Island was here, so fans might find this beach familiar. This very secluded crescent-shaped beach with a bit of lagoon on the northern tip is a place to get away from the crowds.

Access is a problem here because there are very few place to park. When you drive in you will see about a half dozen spots together on the left hand side. There is nothing past that so you will have to turn around if you can’t park there.

Enter the beach at the end of the road on the left hand side of the bay.

No facilities.
