A highlight of night time Siem Reap is a daiquiri or two at the 1920’s Shanghai-style cocktail bar, Miss Wong. This diminutive bar has a nostalgic atmosphere of a bygone mysterious orient: dark red walls, Asian filigree, vintage posters of adventurous Chinese ladies, mood music, and a wet bar befitting the set of a late night movie.
Created by local identity Dean Williams, Miss Wong is the perfect location for a cocktail (US$5 for the Indochine Martini) or icy cold beer (US$2) before heading out to the bustling Pub Street. Open
6pm until late…it’s hard to leave. A classic.
