Swiss chocolate is some of the world’s best, and some of the best Swiss chocolate can be found at smaller boutique operations like this one, which opened in September 2009 and specializes in handmade, local and 100% natural chocolates in a range of seasonal and classic flavors.

With a prime location on Schweizerhofquai and a smart store fit-out, shopping for chocolate is a smooth experience here. Popular varieties include dreamy Tahitian vanilla with fleur de sel, gianduja with raspberry purée or creamy caramel flavored with hand-picked local hay (a definite favorite). Special seasonal treats might see combinations such as cranberry and chili or banana and ginger.

Each chocolate is stamped with a signature ‘X’, to represent Max, the  son of owner Patrick König. Max, who has Down’s Syndrome, is an avid fan of chocolate and the inspiration behind the business.
