Mama Mia Trattoria serves the kind of zesty, hearty food made with love by southern Italian mothers.
I’m a sucker for its veal parmigiana, or you can choose chicken or eggplant versions. Mama Mia’s serves handmade gnocchi, ravioli and manicotti, as well as countless other pastas, pizza, chicken and seafood dishes.
Like chef Lisa Schroeder’s other iconic eatery, Mother’s Bistro, all the food is made from scratch. It serves free-range, naturally fed veal, and uses local products. Its mozzarella is made fresh daily.
It has a great wine and beer list, and also has a kids menu.
