All aboard for Main Street Lake Cruises on Lake Taneycomo, with several options available on 100-foot boats that depart from Branson Landing. They’re a relaxing way to take in the views of the Branson Landing Fountains as well as the lake’s undeveloped shoreline.
The Lake Queen paddleboat is a replica of riverboats that used to travel down the White River before the dams were built that created Lake Taneycomo. It offers a narrated sightseeing cruise which delves into Branson’s history and passes scenic bluffs. You might even see wildlife, from heron to flying squirrels. For the best views, head to the topside outdoor deck. Lunch is available.
In the early evening, dinner cruises are offered on the more luxurious and modern Landing Princess featuring a buffet of beef brisket and roasted chicken and sides.
By the way, if you’re here in summer, a cruise on Lake Taneycomo can be a cool retreat: due to the lake’s cold temperature, you’ll be about 15 degrees cooler on the open deck than you were on land.
