Established in 1968, the center has been working to get a little art out of everyone for 40 years. Whether it’s a class, an exhibit or a special event, you can bet it will be well done. This group makes their home in the Kinkead House, which was built in 1847. The scenic 1 ½ acres, right in the middle of downtown, has a butterfly garden, a stream and waterfall, and even a children’s garden. Check the website to see what kind of artsy things are going on, or just wander through their lush park-like setting to take a breather.
