This is the laid back, budget side of the adjacent Gustavino eateries. The space, prices and locally recommended “simple cuisine” at La Canova di Gustavino are ideal for families and travelers on a budget. Some of the more alluring secondi include cod Livornese style, polenta with sausage and mushroom and stewed beef with potatoes.

The only thing bleeding over from the swanky, pasta laboratory that is Gustavino, right next door, are the quality and prices of the wine-by-the-glass, though one could argue that this is for the greater good.
