Located on Sok San Road, the Kuriosity Kafe is the creation of Geert Coboor, the owner of the Red Piano, which began the resurgence of Pub Street into today’s tourism phenomena. Memorabilia flavours much of this eatery. A little bit of Americana here, some colonial Bombay there, and some seating reminiscent of a London gentleman’s club. The food is more bistro than café and a step up from the backpacker fare traditionally found on Sok San. Burgers, barbecue, salads, pizza, pasta and Khmer food are top quality and servings are tasty and generous. A standard is the slow-roasted pork spare ribs, salad and fries (US$7.50). A big meal. Service here is friendly and honest. ‘Happy Hour’ beers from US$1. T-shirt US$6. Open lunch and dinner ‘til late.
