There are a number of places to eat and drink here, which is reason enough to come, plus the local art museum with some great exhibitions (and a less-great permanent collection).
If you’re a music buff, then you simply must treat yourself to a concert in the hallowed music hall, whose acoustics are regarded as a thing of rare beauty. The Lucerne Festival would be the perfect time!
