Locals line up each night for heaping plates of pasta. And rightly so. The price is right. Food is fresh (they might have the best Kamuela tomatoes on the island). The servers are very accommodating to both children and adults–there are plenty of gluten free options.
An array of salads, pupus, and creative specials every night might tempt your palate, but look around, you’ll see that the pasta is the highlight. The marinara or the pesto rock, and are big enough to share. They also serve paninis (the grilled portabella or chicken florentine are popular), and excellent salads. Be sure to sample some of their garlic bread.
Probably the best deal on the island is their takeout pasta dinner, for 30 bucks, which comes with salad, pasta, and garlic bread for four. With a bunch of tables cramped beneath a bamboo-molded ceiling, kids running around, and the nicest wait staff in town, this might not be a haven of fine dining, but this is one of the best meals you might have on Kauai.
