Among the growing collection of boutique eateries at Baha Mar, it resides casino-side in the Grand Hyatt. Central to the indoor-outdoor restaurant space, the sushi bar turns out lovely sashimi platters and hand rolls such as the baked crab. From the super-hot robata grill, namesake Chef Katsuya Uechi creates crispy rice with spicy tuna and Wagyu beef gems.
The creativity does not end in the kitchen. Crafty bartenders whip up cocktails of sake, vodka, and tequila. They are mixed with muddled cucumber, ginger, kiwi, and other fresh ingredients.
Katsuya operates nearly a dozen restaurants around the world. The Baha Mar operation localizes its menu with such offerings as conch-oyaki and lobster dynamite.
