Jody Maroni’s Sausage Kingdom began selling Jody’s handmade family recipe gourmet sausages back in 1979. His self-described “haute dogs” are a big hit, made with chicken, duck, lamb and pork – and spiced up with such ingredients as cilantro, oranges, tangerines, figs, corn and apples. His menu has at least 14 different grilled-sausage sandwiches.
Jody’s wit is a big part of his show. He’s franchised his magic but the Venice location is still the cornerstone of his empire.
