The Bangkok branch of this Japanese department store has a mix of Japanese, Thai, European, and American brands. On the ground floor, cosmetics brands include Panpuri, Kanebo, and RMK as well as worldwide ubiquities like Chanel. The next three levels have clothes, accessories, Thai handicrafts, and stationery, which is always a fun section to shop in Asia. The 5th floor has a supermarket, a Japanese deli and bakery with daifuku, and a sushi bar.
On the top floor there’s a Kinokuniya bookstore that is heavy on Japanese titles, unlike its other counterparts in Bangkok. A small but decent section of Japanese literature translated into English has titles by Ryu Murakami, Haruki Murakami, Kenzaburo Oe, and some manga in English, too, like Dororo by Osamu Tezuka.
