For budget-minded travelers who still want a little whimsy, Hôtel Windsor is a 3-star hotel in the heart of Nice.

The halls, the guest rooms, and even the elevator,  highlight a different modern artist and you’ll find the rooms simple but comfortable, with wifi, ceiling fans, mini bars and some with balconies overlooking the garden.  No air-conditioning so be aware during summer.

There is also a bar and restaurant on-site, as well as  a lovely tropical garden with bamboo, bougainvilleas and fruit trees around a small but refreshing swimming pool.

Parking is a challenge in Nice, but can be arranged by the hotel if you have a car but book ahead.

Rates range from €81 – €290 per room per night depending on the room type and season. (this is a good value for the location). Parking is an additional €13 – €23 per night.
