This 31-room hotel, only about a minute from the Ponte Vecchio, is housed in a genuine palazzo. As advertised, the defining feature of the hotel is its 720 year old torre (tower) – said to be the tallest privately owned tower in Florence – topped with a double terraced bar.
Rooms are surprisingly large for the moderate price, filled with period furniture and equipped with air conditioning. Prices are a steal in low season, so it’s worth checking out even for people on a budget.
Staff will arrange tours, museum reservations and wine tastings.
Parking available. Free internet/wi-fi.
