The historic O’Keefe Ranch is near the junction of Hwy 97 and 97A It was founded in 1867, and in its earliest days was at the end of the wagon road into the Okanagan Valley and the site of the stagecoach depot.

The small, self-contained community had a Post Office, blacksmith shop, gristmill, and even its own church and cemetery. Many of the original buildings still exist. Continue along Highway 97 to reach Kamloops.
