After almost forty years of working as executive chef to diplomats and powerful figures such as Lord Mountbatten, Cha Cha came to Bangkok and started a restaurant so that everyone could enjoy his Northern Indian cooking. We’re happy he did; the nan is fresh from the oven and the chicken tikka is succulent.
Today, Cha Cha’s son runs the business, which comprises three restaurants. The original is across the street from the Oriental Hotel. The walls are covered in yellow-gold fabric with green embroidery and each table has its own dimmer for the ornately carved lantern above.
