Green spaces in LA are not that easy to find. If you’re in Beverly Hills, and you want to relax in a park-like setting, head over to Greystone Mansion and Park.
The 55-room Tudor mansion was built in 1928 by oil-tycoon Edward Doheny. Scenes from lots of films were shot here, including Indecent Proposal, Ghostbusters II, The Witches of Eastwick and Air Force One.
Placed on the Registry of Historic Places in 1976, it’s the largest private estate in the history of Beverly Hills. The park grounds are open daily; the mansion only for special events. A plus are the panoramic views of Beverly Hills from the parking lot.
