The fascinating collection of cactus, succulents, citrus and exotic plants at the Ravino Botanical Gardens, including a rare specimen of one of the oldest plants on earth, the Wollemi Pine, have been lovingly curated and nurtured over the last 35 years by Giuseppe d’Ambra. The colors and shapes of the plants are complemented by carefully placed artworks, sculpture and artisan crafts, creating a delight for the senses. The colorful plumes of the resident peacocks add to this living work of art.
The gardens wouldn’t be complete without the Cactus Lounge Cafè where you can sample the special cactus cocktail or enjoy an atmospheric aperitif at sunset. Ravino’s 18 self-catering vacation apartments sit on a terrace overlooking the gardens and enjoy stunning views, a sundeck, swimming pool, and a life sized chess board.
