Ghost Manor has become a Halloween favorite in New Orleans. Many people here put up impressive displays for Halloween, but few are quite as meticulous and awe inspiring as at this Victorian home. Located on the corner of Magazine and Second Streets, the house is not open to the public but the show is easily viewed from the sidewalk. It is hard to know where to focus with dancing ghosts, googly eyes and Slimer from Ghostbuster moving across the second floor, singing skeletons on the porch, and trees being struck by lightning on both sides. The show runs on a 10- to 15-minute loop, and the owners add something new every year, keeping people coming back again and again.
