Grasse has been the capital fragrance since the 1500s and today, the world’s best brands rely on flowers from Grasse and  master “noses” to create signature scents.  Now you can get in on the action only 30-minutes inland from Cannes.

Follow your nose and discover the secrets of the perfume industry and the traditional
processes of making it during a free guided visit at Galimard, founded in 1747 by Jean de Galimard.

Then treat yourself to a 2-hour “Studio de Fragrance” workshop lead by a perfumer, aka “a nose,” who’ll walk (or rather sniff) you through the detailed creation of your own customized elixir, which you will name, bottle, label and take home as a scent-sational French Riviera souvenir. 

Reservations for the workshop a must. Kids are welcome though it’s probably more appropriate for children ages 8 and older.
