Hey mambo, you’re arrived in Perth’s Little Italy, thanks to
the arrival of European immigrants in the 1950s. After winning the America’s
Cup in 1987 the town rejoiced and lined the streets with bars, cafes, shops,
museums, buskers and bohemians.

The port town is still celebrating and South Terrace is
affectionately referred to the cappuccino strip for good reason. Take your pick
of cafes, restaurants or bars to plonk yourself down and watch the passing
parade wondering through Fremantle’s historic streets.
