This Fisherman’s Wharfseafood joint blows all the other competition out of the water. It is, hands down, the best restaurant on the Wharf. Look past the parking lot to spot sea lions, the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz as you settle in to enjoy fresh seafood.
Order a glass of local wine, then peruse the gigantic menu. They are known for their seafood, especially the kind you have to work to eat—crab, shrimp, you know the deal. It’s messy; it’s frustrating; it’s fun; it’s delicious.
Spring for the salumi bar, populated with fresh seafood like smoked trout, skilled roasted mussels, crab alfredo, or the whole roasted Dungeness crab. You won’t have room for dessert, so just eat up and enjoy the view.
FYI: with dinner here, you get free parking out front.
