In Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood, a place perhaps not quite as storied as Concord or Lexington, you’ll find the final resting place of a surprising number of literary lights, at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Among those buried here, you’ll find authors and notable figures including poets e.e. cummings and Anne Sexton, abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison, Kahlil Gibran, A.J. Gordon, playwright Eugene O’neill, Wall Street Journal manager Clarence Barron, and Louis Prang (the inventor of the Christmas card).
