Situated in the centre of the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle, a one hectare urban garden in the centre of the city, this striking white marble fountain carved by James Pradier and installed in 1845.

Square house headgear!

Look closely and you will see that she wears the Maison Carrée on her head is accompanied by four figures. In fact these represent the Nemausa Spring, the Fontaine d’Eure nymphs and the Rhône and Vidourle giants.
