For something different, a fish massage around Pub Street and the old market in Siem Reap provides a unique way to relax after a day of temple touring. You place your feet in a water tank filled with tiny garra rufa fish that nibble off the dead cells of your feet. It is a tickling sensation and your feet are left smooth and fresh. The fish are supposed to be imported from Turkey but rumor has it that many of these massage outlets use tiny fish from Ton Le Sap lake, and don’t feed them for a few days to make them really hungry. Cost is US$3 for twenty minutes. Avoid if you have cuts and abrasions as the water may not be fresh. Open all day until 10 pm.
