Cross the historic Fern Bridge and park along Main Street to wander through this picturesque community. Originally built by dairy farmers, the Victorian buildings in this village have been well preserved.
The most beautiful buildings are the B&Bs. Book a night in the historic Gingerbread Mansion, or snap photos of the Victorian Inn.
Take a carriage ride through downtown—find the horse-drawn carriages along Main Street. Meander through the old fashioned mercantile. Check out the Ferndale Museum (3rd and Shaw Streets) to learn more about the architecture of the community.
Diners seem to be the norm in this part of the North Coast. So pull up a stool at Curley’s Full Circle, or at Poppa Joe’s.
