Enrique is a bit of a legend on the Seville dining scene and his restaurant here serves excellent traditional dishes with innovative flourishes dishes using the freshest ingredients.
The downstairs dining rooms are intimate and relaxed and while upstairs is more formal. The cellar is well stocked, particularly with sherries.
My good friend Luis who is one half of the local walking tour co Really Discover also raves about the tapas. Standing at the bar here and sampling a few of Enrique’s innovative tapas is a great way to try his wonderful food for a fraction of the price in the restaurant.
Try the asparagus flamenquín (breaded and fried rolled aubergine with asparagus and cheese inside) and the filo-wrapped salt cod in almond sauce. Delicious.
