Emerson’s Study

The room so important it moved from one house to another!

Now located at the Concord Museum, this entire study was moved from R.W. Emerson’s home in 1930, due to year-round demand at the author’s home from his fans.

See the desk where many of his universally acclaimed works were written, and the room where he received great literary minds of the day.  Peruse his bookshelves.

If you want to get close to the heart of this great author, you can’t get much closer (until you visit his house across the street).
