Quirky fusion food restaurant serving 100% vegan meals and catering for special diets such as nut/gluten free. If you’re want to know more about what they do cook, check out their video demonstration. (They also give cookery courses at their bed and breakfast.)
The café/restaurant features Andalusian tapas and a very wide range of freshly-cooked dishes from all over the world. (The kitchen is open to view.) Overall a friendly place, with a good local reputation for its food. The tasty soups are a good tip from those in the know. There are separate lunch and evening menus, both very full and perhaps a little confusing for the less-than-adventurous.
The jury still seems to be out on the service, however, which can be a little patchy, if always cheerful. And the place can get a bit cramped in the medieval building when it’s busy.
Tip If you enjoy the vegan desserts, you can buy them in kit form to take home.
