Edinburgh Bus Tours take half-a-million passengers around the capital every year, in a deservedly popular service.

Various different language and commentary options are offered on headsets and some tours run beyond central attractions too. A ticket to hop on-and-off all their services for a day costs £16; and combined tickets which include entrance to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Yacht Britannia are also offered.

Incidentally, the same bus company also runs an excellent Edinburgh-wide bus system – a day ticket for the whole network costs £4 and can be bought from any bus driver (exact change required).
