This building sits next to a colorful little Chinese temple on Samsen Road. Its tamarind exterior and busy, green cut-out balconies complement the temple in an unlikely way, and it has a rooftop garden with a sweeping view.
The rooms are small but the place is clean and comfortable. Diamond House is right on Samsen Road so it can get a bit loud, but it’s also in a very convenient spot: right across the street are May Kaidee’s vegetarian restaurant and popular rock club Adhere. It’s also a short five-minute walk to the riverboat taxi pier.
