At Mandalay Bay, the Delano luxury boutique hotel-within-a-hotel ropes in stylish thirtysomething crowds with its sleek modern design, spacious hotel suites, and a tempting mix of chic amenities. It’s a surprisingly peaceful retreat, but just steps away from the buzzing casino floor.
Sip unique cocktails and fine whiskeys in the downstairs Franklin bar or ride the glass elevator up to the 64th-floor Skyfall Lounge for gorgeous sunset views of the Strip. Unwind after a big night out in the Bathhouse spa or chill poolside at the private Delano Beach Club, which has an oddly submerged, life-sized chess board. You won’t go hungry here either, not with Alain Ducasse’s rooftop Rivea restaurant, creative comfort food at Della’s Kitchen near the casino entrance, or quick bites and drinks at 3940 Coffee & Tea lounge by the hotel lobby. Another galaxy of restaurants, bars, and more awaits in the rest of the M-Bay resort, a short walk away.
Inside the high-rise tower at the Delano’s all-suites hotel, even the most basic suite is nothing to scoff at, measuring over 700 square feet and boasting a deep soaking tub and a separate living area with a wet bar for entertaining your entourage. Scenic suites add floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows. If you want to bring Fido, a few suites are now pet-friendly (a hefty nightly surcharge applies). All accommodations are non-smoking.
