De Carrousel is a themed pancake house in Amsterdam. The atmospheric inside looks like a gigantic carousel, complete with decorated, jumping horses. You can come here for pancakes after visiting the museums of Museumplein or even better, for poffertjes! These mini-pancakes are light, fluffy, and served covered in powdered sugar. There is also a chunk of butter. Your task is to share the butter out onto each and every poffertje.
