This Indian and Nepalese eatery is a treat.  The tasty
dishes are not over-spicy, which suits many insiders.  The menu also includes quality Asian
and western dishes.  Very clean and welcoming.  Chef Bishnu says his customers particularly
like the Chicken Mono US$5, Aloo Papdi US$4, and tandoor chicken US$5 for a
half, US$9.50 for a whole.  Fiery hot lamb
vindaloo costs US$6.   ‘Happy hour’ specials
are available from 11am – 4pm:  a meal
with a draft beer (US$2.75), soup and rice (US$2.50).  Accommodation is also available: seven rooms
with a/c US$12 per night, two twins for US$18 including a/c, two rooms with
fans at US$7 per night and some dorm accommodation.  Good food, comfortable setting and attentive
staff.  Draft beer US$0.50.  Located toward the Central Market
end of Street 172.
