Cumberland Falls State Park

Ever seen a moonbow?

Save to my Account

Known as “Niagara of the South”, this beautiful 125 foot wide waterfall drops 68 feet into the Cumberland River. It is breathtaking by day, but if you plan your trip during a full moon, you might just see a moonbow, a rainbow made by the light of the moon. It’s the only moonbow in the western hemisphere, so you might as well catch it if you can. This park also has 17 miles of scenic hiking trails, fishing, rafting, horseback riding and playgrounds.
