The Crayola Experience at the Florida Mall is a good family attraction for children 10 and under. With 25 hands-on coloring attractions and more than 70,000 square feet in the 2-story attraction, Crayola is worth as much as a full day where children can use colors, chemistry and digital technology to create many colorful memories.
Family groups or children who like to work by themselves can make their own coloring page—starring them—and animate their creations on a large digital projection.
Other hands-on attractions include an activity studio for cutting, coloring, and pasting projects; an area of using melted crayon wax to molding into a ring, shark, car or seahorse souvenir; and a color playground with a melted wax tower to climb and numerous obstacles to squeeze through.
Parents have their own waiting area while the children work, or they can take some time to visits the dozens of mall stores that include Dillard’s, J.C. Penney and Macy’s department stores. For lunch, visit the on-site Café Crayola for pizza, salads, sandwiches and snacks items. Or head to the mall’s food court with its impressive array of options.
Naturally, Crayola Experience features a Crayola Store. This one is stocked with the largest selection of Crayola products available. No entrance fee to enter and shop the Crayola Store.
