Cossetta Alimentari was founded in 1911 by an Italian immigrant family. It started as a tiny food market in St. Paul’s “Little Italy.” Today, Cossetta is a bustling, fourth-generation Italian deli, bakery, pastry shop, market, restaurant and more—all under one roof.
Hungry? You’ll find great pizza, pasta and pastries. Shop for Italian delicacies, sip a little espresso and experience firsthand the richness of St. Paul’s ethnic heritage.
Head for the counter to order your made-from-scratch pizza. Other choices include hot and cold Italian hoagies, lasagna and other pasta dishes and classic chicken, veal and sausage entrees. Cossetta also features the sit-down full service Louis Ristorante & Bar upstairs.
Or, select goodies to make your own meal at home or for a picnic. Choose from house-made and imported salami and other meats. Select bread from piles of delicious fresh loaves. Then, head to the charming pasticceria where you’ll find cookies, cannoli, cakes, cream-filled concoctions and mountains of gelato. Cossetta also offers beer, wine and soft drinks.
You’ll also enjoy Cossetta’s fascinating collection of historic photographs and other artifacts chronicling life in Little Italy during the first half of the twentieth century.
