The architecture on this cool building is just as amazing as
the art work inside. Designed by Zaha Hadid, an award winning Iraqi-British architect, it is home to a
Black Box Theatre, multi level exhibition space and the entire sixth floor is
dedicated to children and families. It is called the UnMuseum and it is a
really fun place to hang out. The museum
has ever-changing exhibits, bringing in some of the most famous artists in the
genre. Gift shop in the lobby has some
funky items that you can’t find anywhere else. Tip: The UnMuseum is perfect for
little ones, but in other parts of the museum, sometimes the exhibits are not
exactly rated “G”. Ask at the front desk
if there are any floors that are off limits for kids.
And thanks to a recent donation, admission is free everyday.
