Six fabulous blocks of the city’s best antique dealers and other boutiques, shops and restaurants are clustered together here just west of Soulard in the Benton Park neighborhood.

There’s a bit of everything, but it’s not slip-shod merchandise. The shop keepers pride themselves in carefully selected and creatively displayed items that fulfill a unique niche in St. Louis shopping.

You’ll find stores that specialize in vintage clothing, rare and antique books and architectural salvage.

Other stores are dedicated to antique kitchenware, musical instruments and light fixtures.

But not all is old on Cherokee Row. There’s an e-Bay auction shop, some fine art galleries, and a half-dozen fabulous restaurants and coffee shops.

Come in May for the History Fair and guided tours of the buildings, many which date to the early 1800s.
