There’s no better place to watch the sun set over Table Rock Lake and enjoy fine dining and a glass of wine than Chateau Grille with its drawing-room ambiance, located in the Chateau on the Lake resort complex. Be sure to make a reservation for a window-side table.
Dinner entrees give a wide range of steaks and seafood paired with sauces and side dishes, from Chilean sea bass served with roasted pepper risotto, baby carrots, spinach leaves and a creamy Chardonnay clam sauce to a Kansas City strip loin with parmesan grits, marinated tomatoes and smoked Andouille Creole Sauce. lUnfortunately, some dishes are too ambitious for their own good, overwhelmed by sauces and condiments, so choose your meal carefully.
Alternatively, make a reservation well in advance for Sunday brunch ($35), featuring more than 50 dishes from which to choose. Or, in fine weather, head to the outdoor terrace of the Atrium Cafe & Wine Bar, serving burgers, sandwiches and other fare for lunch and dinner.
