Rustic-looking Charlie’s Steaks-Ribs & Ale, located right on the Strip, rustles ’em in with its own microbrews and sizzling steaks. Its specialties include ribeye, bacon-wrapped filet mignon and other cuts of beef, aged 21 days and cut fresh from the loin. But there is plenty of other options as well, including burgers and sandwiches, baby back ribs, chicken and seafood, as well as a children’s menu. Its salads are so huge, they could feed a family of four.
On an interesting side note, the family that opened this place started brewing beer in their home in 2002. In addition, it employs international students who come to the US as part of a work and travel program (our waitress was from Turkey).
