Casa Luna Restaurant was established more than twenty years ago by Australian artist Janet de Neefe, and her Balinese husband. Janet took an early interest in the local culture and cuisine and established one of the first cooking schools in Bali. She went
on to write Fragrant Rice a biographical account of her experience of Balinese life, culture and food and later Bali: The Food of My Island Home. The restaurant is well priced and offers some of the best local and Mediterranean cuisine and the onsite Honeymoon Bakery produces
bread, biscuits and pastries to die for. A range of healthy juices is also a must to try. Sundays are special at Casa Luna with mouth watering donut specials on offer through the day and smooth jazz music to chill out to in the evening.
