A popular spot proud of its reputation for attracting fun loving drinking boaters, Captain Woody’s is often crowded and not intended for a quick visit. They say “Don’t get your shorts in a knot” if you have to wait for a table or for your food. Have another beer and enjoy meeting some old or new friends.

Fish sandwiches or burgers plus plenty of additional seafood choices are ideal for lunch. The He Crab Soup is a delicious bisque, minus the roe which is used for She Crab Soup. Another unique dish is the Shrimp Chili. Dinner is primarily seafood or steak. Kids’ meals, happy hour (for fish tacos or oysters on the half shell) and brunch specials are popular.

Live music is usually presented Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, especially during great summer and fall weather.

Another Captain Woody’s is in Bluffton and equally recommended for food, drink and a fun ambiance.
