All these guys need is a gelateria and they’ve covered every conceivable dining urge anyone might have in Florence. I, of course, was suspicious of what appeared to be a tourist joint trying to do too much, but they’ve managed to keep the quality high in all respects. The restaurant menu is impressively adventurous while honoring Tuscan basics (they’re famous for their bistecca alla Fiorentina – rare t-bone steak), the cute split-level enoteca is cozy and non-pretentious and the pizzeria cooks up a few unusual pies like the gorgonzola and apple pizza that I enjoyed. (Though it needed more apple, in my opinion.)
